We thought about coming up with a witty name for today's post that alluded to pets, but we liked the name of Laura Walz's portrait business too much. So please give a welcome to Laura Walz and her pet portrait business, Wet Nose Art. Walz recently moved back to Sioux Falls after being in NY for awhile and has started up her own small pet portrait business. I'm going to post the blurb Walz's emailed me about her company because I think it sums it all up:
"Wet Nose Art is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by visual artist Laura Walz. Established in 2008, Wet Nose Art seeks to celebrate a cherished pet or to remember a pet that has been lost by creating a unique, one-of-a-kind, fine art portrait. The happiness and comfort my pet portraits have brought to pet owners is the joy and inspiration behind my work."
If you have a pet that needs to be "portrait"-ized, send Walz an email at laurawalz@gmail.com.
Enough talk, take a look!
Thank you for your submission Laura Walz! It never crossed our minds that one day we would feature the art of a "pet portraitist". We have all types here at Graphic Content, so keep them coming!
