The Ipso: Our Naked, Naked Gallery

In today's coverage of the Ipso we're showing you the panels where the art will eventually be hung.  We got some great grate (?!) material that were affixed to our movable panels and now provide our gallery with walls.  ...Ok, this isn't the most interesting blog entry, but we thought we'd show you what the gallery looks like sans art.

The Ipso: Eat Your Heart Out Corporate Art!

Well this is a big week for FP and the Ipso.  We have a grand ol' opening this Friday for the Ipso and an open house for the 5 year anniversary for Fresh Produce.  That's this Friday, March 6th, post 5 o'clock and will be in conjunction with the Fine Arts Trolley Tour.  Fine food, fine drink, fine art, fine fellahs (and ladies).

Here at GC, we will provide continuing coverage of the Ipso as it grows into a full grown, bona fide art gallery. And to start our coverage we're going to show you an ingenious addition to the Ipso, the long awaited and talked about "Art Tree".  From the fine minds at Perspective, this wonder is a great idea for hanging art.  The central trunk has several adjustable branches that shoot off from the radius and provide surface area for hanging bits of art.  Brilliant!

We thought we'd catch you up on the progress/birth of our gallery.

Being part of the family, we thought we'd give Ipso it's own biz card-

We love our tags (nod to Eva Hofer for concepting those beauties).

And how about a giant (45" x 128") banner for the gallery itself?  Check.

Hrmm... that illustration looks familiar...

And finally, we're throwing a grand ol' open house for FP and a grand ol' gallery opening for the Ipso.  How do you put two invites on one card?!  Why you make it "flip-able" of course.

And that's the Ipso at Fresh Produce.  More updates when we get the actual banner and we'll show you the mysterious "Art Tree".  Oooo.

Hey kiddos,

Loyal GC gander-ers will remember that we have a gallery space in our new shop.

Well as of today, that gallery has a name and a logo.

Introducing Ipso at Fresh Produce-

This gallery will feature a projected 4 shows a year and has the potential to be "a" to the "mazing".  It's going to play a big role in our grand opening next month, so keep your lids peeled for that.
