Katie Rose Fritz & the Foldness: Vol. 2

The Foldness can happen to any sort of paper, and money is no exception. The second little bit SDSU senior Katie Rose Fritz sent in was this great folded dollar creation. It's a miniature elephant. Um, awesome! Nice nice nice. We also like the scenery added to the pics. Pennies. So clever.

Now if you'll excuse GC, we need to go google "dollar bill fold elephant" so we can learn how to make our own.

Katie Rose Fritz & the Foldness: Vol. 1

We here at GC are proud to introduce a new contributor! A senior graphic design major at SDSU, Katie Rose Fritz (aka Grammar Girl!) has sent in a couple of real great pieces and has even tackled two of our challenges in one go. Some real nice stuff going on here.

First challenge, The Foldness:

How great is this bird?! Our fav part is the printing on the forehead and hat. How nice! How crafty! How beautiful! And it's not your typical boxy model, it's smooth and cartoony and straight up awesome.

And the second challenge Fritz tackled? Why the Chalkboard Dilemma Challenge, of course:

And the subtle nod in the language used on the side being from "Grammar Girl"? Brilliant. Fritz suggests we make a giant version of this paper craft bird outside the door to our office so as to make the sign more noticeable. We're working on it. More from Fritz later today...
