Coming Soon, a MysterySock Near You

Evidently MysterySock didn't like our speculation of it being an evolution of Think Tank.  S/He sent the following message, all in caps, so we know they're serious.

"MMOUSE,

THOUGHT ID GIVE YOU A PREVIEW OF WHAT MIGHT POSSIBLY BE SHOWING UP IN AN ALLEY OR UNDER A BRIDGE NEAR YOU. I WANNA GIVE THOSE PUNK THINK TANK REBELS A RUN FOR THEIR MONEY.

MYSTERYSOCK"

So if you see one of these beauties around town, we'll know MysterSock can walk its talk.  And in all seriousness, thank you, MysterySock.  Keep 'em coming.  Tis lovely.  And keep your eyes peeled under bridges and on the walls.

We've been preparing for our super surprise next week and it's coming along lovely.  We'll announce on Friday what's coming and you can be sufficiently blown away.

MysterySock: What is the Mystery of Socks?

In the middle of our two week rampage of paper craft, we received a rather mysterious email from one MysterySock. We had first heard from a MysterySock as a commenter way back and had chalked it up as a random internet wanderer. Then we got this email-

"Hello,

I'm a casual gawker. I make magnets. Someday I'll even think about selling them. It's pretty crafty. 

Can you post them on your website?

So what is the mystery of socks? An evolution of Think Tank (think magnets)? Who/what is MysterySock? We haven't a clue. But we do like the magnets. And craftiness. And their stop-motion (?) video. Truly a delight.

Who is MysterySock? Who cares? If they keep sending us work like this, we shan't ask questions, just happily post.
