A new dynamic duo emerges

And that duo is Sarah Lavin and Cassie Medema.

This little beauty was hand drawn by zing-ing freelancer Sarah Lavin and printed by GC regular Cassie Medema via Gocco press.  I love it.  A wonderful bit of hand lettering and a wonderful bit of illustration and a wonderful bit of handcrafting in general.  This piece is tops.  Nice work, kids, nice work.

Welcome Sarah Lavin to the GC stage...

Hope everybody had a great weekend and welcome back to another week of Graphic Content.

Today I have the honor of bringing a new artist to the Graphic Content scene.  Today we have work from Sioux Falls-based freelance designer Sarah Lavin.  In these submissions, Lavin decided to step away from the computer and send us these hand crafted pieces, which I get a kick out of.  The aptly named "Squig" is an acrylic piece on canvas.  And "Light", my fav of the two, is created primarily out of India Ink and photocopies in a really great collage style.  I dig "Light" a ton.
